The park is large and has a lot of entertainment. However, it is quite boring for parents and there are not enough areas to sit while the child plays. However, we had an incident where we wanted to dry the child's clothes in the dryer that was placed in the toilet, but this was not possible as some tokens were required and were nowhere to be found. That's why we had to leave here earlier, because the child soaked his clothes.

It was a fun theme park based on Playmobil toys. There's multiple water park areas for the kids and the park provides related toys in each play area. Some of the dry activities such as play mining for bits of gems, gold nuggests and diamonds would not be allowed in Canada or the USA because the kids would be unsupervised by the parents and they would try to eat the plastic items. In the park the parents are supervising the kids as part of their responsibility. Something to think about. Price is reasonable but hard to find good parking space. The food stands and the gift shop at the end is actually more expensive than the park itself.

As a parent, I think this is the best theme park ever because the child has to play and nothing has done for him so it’s really a great day and They are going to sleep like a little Angels afterwards. We have a year pass and we definitely use it a lot. The great thing is, they have outdoor play area with water without water and during rain and cold season. They have a huge indoor playing area with a restaurant bar and all the toys. Your kids can dream of.

Playmobil land is basically a massive giant park for kids to go play guide with hundreds of playgrounds everywhere including sand water features boat riding features and lots of wooden playgrounds that much the different themes of characters that it has. You can bring food and drinks here. There's also food and drinks to purchase around various locations

Not like theme park rather theme playground, but the kids had good time ♥️.We enjoyed our time, kids played and spent 3h in total. Mini golf was cool as well 😎All in all good recommandation here 👌

This is one of my most favourite places in whole Europe. If you have small children, they will absolutely love it. Everything is perfect, everything works. Everything is clean. The food is amazing.You have lockers, driers, water fountains, snacks, ice cream, place to hide in rain (Hob centre). Pack swimsuit for the kids too, there are beautiful water areas to play I.We always stay in a playmobil hotel and have the breakfast at Hob centre.Love their ice coffee.

baroque-renaissance residence, place of sitting for the Markgraven. you can only visit with a guided tour, a gothic hall on the ground floor is open freely. the tour is a series of rooms and story of the owners. the place is under heavy renovation works (outside and inside), plans for end 2025 to be reopen without limitations again, but the replica is there to see especially the ceiling rococo in the fest Halle. the place was barely damaged in war so you could actually see original stuff from the 18th century.

Excellent visit, not yours at the moment due to covid, but you can walk through the rooms.on your own (although not ally he rooms are open), there is only limited information in English, but staff are really friends, after visiting I went to the gardens across the road

Beautiful residence with plenty of history. Tours are only in German, and they do offer a pamphlet in English, but not everything is covered that the guide talks about and points out. There's construction in several rooms that s supposed to last for the next 3 years. So much of the furniture is covered up. I would suggest adding an audio tour in different languages. Otherwise, it's a great experience and an amazing price! (€5 per adult and kids were free)

Currently under construction work, but the 1h guided tour was definitely worth the visit and provided great insights into the life at and history of the residence.Very engaging and would recommend.I especially liked learning about the everyday life at the residence.I would also suggest to spend some time in the close-by gardens and doing a city tour, for example with the free digiwalk Ansbach audio tour which is available in English and German.

I would not recommend this tour for young children. This was a wonderful and informative tour. We were supposed to be on a German speaking tour (our choice due to time) with English booklets on the exhibits but because we were the only one the guide did the tour in English. The art work displayed was amazing. They are in the process of renovations (April 2019) so some exhibits could not be viewed, however they had photos of them. The run every hour and it was less than €10 for myself and my husband.

A nice palace with origal furniture from the late 17 hundreds. The tour guide offered lots of information. A pity that authorities have decided to use black out on some windows but have not adjusted the lighting in the rooms. We'll worth while to walk through the gardens.

a medieval fortress dated to the 11th century but its present form is from 18th century. large complex of museums, beer gardens, and vast yards. the small entrance allows you only to see the castle yard and the viewing platform. you have to get the guided tour to see the different rooms, halls, antiquities, life in the fortress back then and a collection of paintings. amazing experience and family friendly. shop for souvenirs is available.

A very large and beautiful historical castle-fortress. We really enjoyed the walk around the castle. Without a tour, you can only see the courtyard and walk around the fortress. Therefore, to see the entire castle you need to take a tour. The ticket costs only 5 euros. But the guide will show and tell you everything. They provide a booklet in Russian, which you can then take with you. There is a gift shop at the museum. It was a great walk.

Part of a larger tour (i’ll write them a review later but not here). Part of the Romantic Road. I read that there is no historical significance to this very famous Romantic Road… It might be a good idea though that you secure a form of alternate internet because it tends to be weak, especially if traveling here independently.

Stopped here while driving the Romantische Straße, did the guided tour and it was very cool. It was awfully warm on a summer day, but there is lots of history here, and it offers a very different perspective on a German castle compared to Neuschwanstein or Hohenschwangau. I recommend giving yourself a little extra time outside the hour+ tour to check out a couple areas not featured in the tour too.

Very nice 20.9 meter tower. Great view of Aalen and surroundings.At the base of the tower there is a playground for children, lots of benches and tables, and a restaurant, but it was closed (July Saturday afternoon).

The place is about 200m above city level and may take around 40-50 by foot from the city centre. At top there is a restaurant and a observation deck. From the observation tower one can see complete city of Aalen.

If you love trekking on a hill and campfires at night this is the place to be. The scenic view of Aalen from that observation tower is absolutely breathtaking.

Great place for hiking and picnic. If you are here during winter you can enjoy ski service also.

We took an English tour. The Audio quality was very poor, not able to follow the audio and understand. The tour finishes so quickly in such a way that the kids cannot completely observe and understand what's explained in the tour.

Bistro is nice, good price value.Factory outlets are limited, and black week deals are very limited.Parking is fee based, but cash only. If you don't have cash then you need to pay in the museum and 2€ on top. It's time to offer cashless payment everywhere without side effects.

Growing up I owned a lot of Steiff animals ( still have them) and now I took my grandkids there to visit. This museum is absolutely amazing and interesting. You are part of their story when visiting

This place is a must for parents and grandparents if you travel on the A7 or A8. Short exit and you made your kids so happy. The museum is a must. Animals in different sizes even for the biggest daddy's and mum's. We went with our 18 month old and this was so nice for him. Have a look at the outlet before you buy anything in the store next to the museum. You can get a good deal there. Will definitely go back.

Besides being a historical building with the greatest architecture, the staircase outside is used by the town as a stage for plays. Away from home and wanting to serve God with fellow worshippers, it was the most amazing sermon I have attended.

Oh wow. Past amazing. Everything is so old! Be sure to go up the bell tower, just watch your times around the bells because it is loud!! The church is just amazing. Only downside is that very little is printed in English so if you're a tourist, be sure to use Google Translate

Schwäbisch Hall is a very nice City to visit, and stopping by ST Michael Church is totally worth it. There are also Restaurants and Stores in the vicinity.

What a view! Climbing the tower is free and highly recommended. Be careful with the bells, they ring pretty loud every 15 minutes.

Beautifully restored church, with al large square in front. Many bars/restaurants in the surroundings. The city is a beautiful historic centre and has many things to see, worthwhile visiting when in the neighbourhood.

Very interesting, beautiful place to visit. Easy to see the transformation from Romanesque to Gothic and some of the chapels have Baroque decor. The view is splendid.

great place to spend a day off. Entrance to the gallery is free; a large number of sculpture exhibits are located on the street. Inside there is an interesting selection of art from various directions and periods, a lot of air and light. There is a cafe and toilets. There is also a second museum dedicated to technology. Again, a great place to enjoy a day off.

We was at the first time in Skyline Park near Bad Wörrishöfen. Not really crowded as used from other parks. Fair prices for food and beverages. Some attractions seemed a little bit older. Employees were helpful but not friendly. Overall it’s worth to visit Skyline Park especially with smaller children.

Nice choice of rollercoasters, roundabouts, and other rides. Plenty of opportunities to dine, quite some at reasonable prices.The experience very much depends on the length of the waiting queues and thus on the number of people visiting the park.We went on a Friday in August, where many Bavarians are on vacation, so it was great.Kids with a birthday +- 5 days of the visit are free. Reduced fees for all under 1.50m.Most really heavy rides are free from 1.50m and 14 years of age.

Far from Munich, the public transportation system was complex and inconvenient. Additionally, Uber and other ride-sharing services were not available in the vicinity of the park. The games offered had restricted time limits per game. Furthermore, there was no Wi-Fi available.

If you want to use the train you have to walk 10-15 minutes from the station Rammingen bay to arrive the parking space and from there enter the park. If you are alone walking through empty fields might feel a bit uneasy. At least for me as a solo visitor arriving there early Sunday. You are provided with a useful map at the ticket booth. Adrenaline seekers should pick red-marked-equipments. There are beautiful sites for nature lovers as well. You need at least 5-6 hours to walk around and stay in line for your favourite games. The price and distance worth the adventure.

The positives first..... as it was raining the park was empty, so no queuing. The food is very reasonably priced and also very good. The staff are friendly.The negatives.....on one of the rides, there was an electrical fault and we left hanging for 15 to 20 minutes. My daughter was quite upset. When something like this happens, my view is, the management should offer a voucher for a free drink or something similar.

One of the best Amusement Park within Bavaria, they have lot of space for Car parking.You can reach by rail : Munich to Buchloe from there you need to change the train for Raimmingen (bay) 2 stop from Buchloe.Entire journey is of 50 minutes. You should reach at 10 am as they will close it sharp at 6 pm, this way you can enjoy the rides.You have lots of things to do for kids, my kid enjoyed a lot and wish to come again.Inside food court will get close by 6 pm but near the entrance you will have food ( ice cream , popcorn) shop open till 7 or 7:30 pm.Take ample amount of water with you. You can bring your own food and they also have lot of food court.We enjoyed a lot i hope you will also.

Amazing location if you are looking for for a calm therapeutic nature walk. There are trailed walks pathways where you can walk barefoot and experience different senses. Though I have visited here before but yesterday the rose garden was not well maintained, I think this years constant rain was not good. Highly recommended as well if you are coming here with elderly parents

Great destination for a calm therapeutic nature walk. One gets both peaceful and meditative encounter. The area is touristic also.I like the spacing and varieties of things to explore. It makes one appreciate the things we often take for granted. It's inspirational the history of the place and those that made it really happen. Fully recommend and worth your time if you're anywhere close to Bavaria.

Amazing park to visit in the middle of the forest. Beautiful rose garden and lovely lake.A bit disappointed as they don't keep the very famous umbrellas for longer time in the summer. Would be nicer if they stay there for the full summer time. Free parking for 2h. And Toilet facilities. There could be more take away coffee places and refreshments.

The barefoot trail is a lot of fun for the whole family. My only complaint is that some sections could be better marked since the paved road interrupts the trail. The trail is pretty rough on your feet but it is worth it for the experience. Some of the stations along the trail are mud pits, balance bridges, and various walking textures. Parking is a little difficult especially on weekends when the weather is nice. There are also limited lockers on site to store shoes. They require a 1 or 2 euro coin that is returned at the end of use.

This is the tallest church in the world. For anyone interested in history will be speechless looking at this masterpiece. Going all the way up with 700+ stairs is about awesome experience and certainly worth a 7€ fee. It was the highlight of our visit to the church and the city. The church has an interesting history with tight connections to the city of Ulm. As an example, it took more than 600 years to construct the building.

Tallest Munster. Historic, cultural and tradition behind.Rout to climb to top of cathedral- adults pay 7€ and kids 4-5 euros. Nice stairs to climb, will post beautiful aerial views as we climb. It’s about an hour and a half activity. On top of, there is a small exhibit to show different other cathedrals, some include Indian.Climb down is quick.Must see in ULM .

Highest church steeple on the planet but more than that - this place has historic and architectural significance ie the main entry being at the side and it's north south alignment. Plus the wood carvings - 2nd to none and accessible for the public unlike some churches in the UK.

This is a very impressive and magnificently preserved building. I am proud to be able to make this comment after experiencing it myself several times. If you are curious, please visit. The food is delicious, the service is fast. Very high quality black beer is served inside. The outside is full of handmade figures. Hz. Ibrahim Sacrifice incident is depicted. Jesus Christ is also shown. dating from the 1300s. Even the Ottoman coat of arms is present in the frescoes.

Very special building with colorful paintings and details. Almoust like a huge history book, these paintings, writings and coat of arms tell a lot about Ulm's past.Especially the huge and complex astronomical clock is worth the visit.

No visitor misses the 3 most important hotspots of Ulm - the Münster, the "Schiefe Haus" and the very special "Rathaus" with its colorful paintings and details. Almoust like a huge history book, these paintings, writings and coat of arms tell a lot about Ulm's past - if you have the time, join one of the guided tours. The active townhall interior is nice, but renovated - the storytelling outside and especially the huge and complex astronomical clock is worth the visit on the way down to the Danube or Fischerviertel.

We visited Ulm and the Rathaus stood up nicely as we got to the town from the car park. It’s really impressive with nice paintings and a very unique architecture. An old building that seems new and different. You should really see it if you visit Ulm

The real highlight of this place is the ropes park, which is really good, and it also has a part for smaller kids so all of our family had a blast there. The alpine coaster is also pretty good. But the playground is kind of a ripoff. 7.5 euro for kids and 5.5 euro for their parents? That is a crazy price for a playground. Which is nice, but definitely not worth the money. I'd go immediately to the rope park and go down the alpine coaster without even giving the playground a look.

The best place with kids in Allgäu!The playground on the top worth it if you have young kids. There are goats to feed, many different parts of playground and very cool slides for the kids (done on a sack) and the the slide downhill os the best! So long 😀The kids had their best day in the vacation there.

Bergwelt is a fun place to take the whole family. There's a huge playground for the little kids, and an alpine sled ride as well as zip lines for bigger kids (and parents). You can get food and drinks at a few different locations (one much higher up the mountain, requiring a hike), and the views are gorgeous all around. Truly gorgeous.You can hike up from road level, if you like (and have the extra hour+), or you can take a scenic ski chair lift ride up, which is what we did.After you are all done, you can walk down and get some really great ice cream at the bottom. The "honey melon" gelato was to die for, and totally changed my view on fruit flavored gelatos. The chocolate was great, too. Yum.We spent an excellent day here, and I really hope to get back next time we visit the Allgäu.

Really amazing summer sledding coaster! Take the open lift from the parking lot from 9am but definitely before 10am to get the first rides. In the summer queuing of 45 min after 11am is likely. FAST! You can go the whole trip without braking but only when there are not a lot of people as it is really fast and steep like a roller coaster!

Amazing place to stop if you are a bit of an adrenaline junkie. You take the cable car up to the top of the mountain great views all the way up and then have a choice of how you get down. The tickets are simple you pay for what you want and pay each time. No day tickets available. It was a bit expensive but well worth it. The views at the top of the mountain are amazing and there is a full oompah band with German restaurant and a Lama petting farm. So you could spend the day up there. We decided to take the toboggan roller coaster down and it was so much fun we screamed and laughed the whole way down only to want to do it again. The staff both at the top and the bottom are very friendly and helpful. A must see if you are in the area.

4 stars cause the hike to go up almost killed me, we were asking random ppl for food cause of my low blood sugar ☺️But the coaster was highly recommended 😍fuuuuuun. If u hate the speed please don’t go ‘all the way’ like the instructors recommended 🥲

Fabulous place for a day outing. Beautiful location and activities. Clean amenities and good food. The musician/singer was great too, setting an overall great ambience. Loved doing the toboggan ride. In fact, we did it twice!! Super thrill and fun! Highly recommend.

It is an amazing experience in a place where one can find a lot of information about the history of caravans and campers in Germany and even more. There you can see the newest Hymer camper that is very impressive. The exhibits are interesting and enchanting. You can get an iPod with explanations in English. I enjoyed every minute and we spent there more than two hours. Price is 11 euros per person but there are discounts and for journalists is free of charge. There are also very nice souvenirs at shop.

Very interesting place to visit if you are near Munich and are into leisure vehicles and their evolution. You cannot bring dogs inside but they would mind them for you at the reception if well behaved. The food was also very nice (try the lemonade)

Wonderful historic trip - in the planet of trip and travel :) The original lifestyle and coolness feeling on every inch in this museum.

You get to see not only vintage campers but cars also. Have an English tour which was great.

Good selection of caravans from the past, set out in themed areas. Was given an iPod for translation of display panels, but gave on it after first themed area.

Fantastic museum showing the history of Caravanning and motor homing.Gave knocked off a star, because the disabled parking spaces and no ramp for wheelchair nearby. Only steps, so had to walk the roadway around to the entrance.

If you are passionate about travelling, you should come here. It is not only about camping cars and caravans, it is about how people have been travelling...

It is a nice, small ski area for families to introduce their kids to skiing. Being very small you can always keep an eye on your little ones, during their ski class or after (if they are old enough, to ski alone).The reason for only three stars is, it’s mainly having old T-bar lifts and this is in my opinion something to change, at least for one or two of the old T-bars.Nevertheless i will return with my family as i like the area.

I liked this place. It is aimed more towards an older crowd (no slides for kids and the like). Food and drink are not available on the Therme side of things, but there is a restaurant there before you go in. I got the feeling this place was more geared towards the therapeutic crowd, but it was quite nice.

Paid for three hours, which is a little long - there's a limit to my relaxation! Not really suited to families, more for the patients of the local rehabilitation clinics, but that being said we enjoyed ourselves.

My nice's enjoyed swimming in the hot water at the thermal bath. Had an excellent lunch and the biggest chesse burger ever.

Therme Bad Saulgau is an excellent spa experience! You can take a steam bath, sit in a hot tub or swim outside all year round in the heated pool. There is a separate pool for swimming laps.

Great Therme with plenty of options.

Amazing place, the view from the cable car is stunning, I enjoyed every moment there.

Very nice mountain for a hike. You can also take the Sailbahn. The hike is not an easy one with steep roads. You need to gain almost 600meters from the bottom which was hard for me ;) the place is amazing and offers the best view of Bodensee from the top. Sunsets are really cool to watch from the top. Must visit !

A very beautiful and quiet place, overlooking three countries: Austria, Switzerland and Germany, you can see the top of the Alpine mountain range, you can go up on foot or through an air lift that costs 15 euro to go up and down or 8euro to go up or down only. A place I recommend to any tourist to visit

At 1064m this mountain offers a spectacular view of Lake constance. The places has lot to offer includes hiking, wild park, restaurants , kids playing area , cable car , horse rides etc. The surrounding forest area , Swiss mountains and Bodensee will provide you an enchanting view. The best and scenic way to travel between the tourist places in the lake constance is via ship.

There is no skiing now here which is a great shame as years ago it was so much fun, just walking, nice restaurant for a hot gluwein or coffee or a bite to eat ( fairly expensive) good attentive staff. I'm Gluten free ( coeliac) but nothing to eat so a Gluten free menu would be amazing as could only watch others tuck in 🙃

Definitely always worth the 👟hike!Went up on another route this week, starting in Lochau towards: Am Stein.Definitely steeper from there, but absolutely amazing view after approximately 20 minutes of hiking.Try it out on a sunny day☀️🌿!Gotta love the view😍!

Great place to visit if you're in Austria. The cable car is 1 big cable car that is shared with others at the same or similar time as you. Not a long ride, 5 minutes to the other side and you can nice views. When you reach the other side you can come straight back or you can get off and explore as there is mountains where you can do skiing there, there is also a kids playground area there which was useful for the kids. There is a wildlife park with small animals you can enter this as it comes with the ticket option if you chose this option. Good prices as I was expecting more. For 2 kids and 2 adults it cost £27 cable car and back and to see the wildlife park.

Great day trip. Stunning views. Lovely restaurant where you can rest have some food and a coffee. Outdoor seating. There's a little wild animal zoo and slides for the younger visitors. Great outing for the whole family. Reasonable prices.

Good place to visit ! You can get a breath taking view from the top. Although would recommend you to buy a ticket only one way either upwards to the summit and enjoy the stroll while returning to the city

The Cabel car experience was very good. It was quite crowded as it’s summer and we had to wait for a long time for our turn to come. The ride was quite good and the view of the whole Switzerland was amazing.

Stunning view over lake Constance and Bregenz city. You can take a cable car round trip for 10.60 Euro which is part of fun or use your own car to go up there to view point. Amazing experience over the cloud:)

Great attraction for the family. Very convenient to take the fresh air when it's hot at the lake. It's particularly adapted for mountain bikes to the top of the mountain. The view at the top is spectacular. There ard numbers of walks available from the top. The free animal park at the top is great to see the Alp's wildlife.The waiting time is pretty small.

Superb! A great cable car! Easy to embark and great view of Bodensee and Bregenz from the cable car as it goes higher and higher. Awesome view from the top.

What a great place! The Coaster downhill was hilarious and so much fun. Took it twice, one with each kid 😉 what a rush. You decide yourself how fast you want to go, but the cart can go no more than 40 km/h. Down the hill there are signs where to hold on the speed and brake a little for the sharp turns.We also took the lift to the middle station and walked down the mountain and tried the 6 slides that's about 50-60m in length each. Perfect way to get down a mountain 😂 There is still a bit of walking to get down.There are tons of hiking trails that we didn't try, but it covers a huge area, so there is something for everyone.

Really fun and felt really safe!You can sit on one coaster alone or together with one small child. It has seat belts for (both) passengers.It can go really fast but you van can also slow it down by using the hand brakes.In August 2022, the price was 13 euros per person per ride which was definitely a good deal for the experience!

Great fun to ride the Alpine Coaster! Nice speed and cornering force as the track winds downd the mountain. Beautiful views and a nice ride back on the cable car.

Great fun!One of the longest and best Rodel 'Coaster' I've ever been too. The sections are very well integrated into the landscape, providing a challenging and fun course. Great high-speed sections, quick and sharp turns, a full carrousel, and some slower sections to enjoy the lovely views into the valley. Visited in July during our holiday to Brand, it was rainy and the wait times were short. Went for 3 rounds and bought ourselfs a photo and icecream at the end-station, amazing memory and souvenier for later. Good staff with a big smile, altogether massive fun, would highly recommend!

Great staff here, even intervenes when some people undertake in the queue or try to reserve a 'place'. They even stayed open after closing time because the queue was so long. If only people didn't stop on the track and honor the rules waiting times would be less.

Beautiful Island. Buses and ferries come to this island. There is a fee to enter. The fee is quite high. There is a large playground for children inside. Accessing the top of the hill can be confusing. There are a lot of signs to help you out. You can pet goats when you are inside. Washrooms are a little far a apart from one another. They are clean.

It was alright. It’s not completely worth the price if you are a local, however, if you are just visiting, I highly recommend. It should only take you about 2-3 hours to walk around the whole thing and take in the nature! It’s a great place for a date :)

Absolutely a nice place to visit especially during pleasant weather. Good for families with kids too. Spacious park with many things to see and experience. Lots of shops and cafes to enjoy a good break before continuing. Still, I find it rather too EXPENSIVE for German standard at Eur25 per adult. Parking another Eur6 per day.

Awesome place to visit in the weekend. Had so much fun looking at kids playing and learning stuff. People with nature, lots and lots of flowers. Was an awesome adventure. Very beautiful place, unfortunately when we went to Mainau it wasn't the best weather, luckily it didn't rain. I think the best part about this place are the playgrounds. They are unique, creative and everyone can have fun, even the adults! You can pretend you're working on the construction site by using real machines. The food places there are not that expensive and the food is fine. You can also buy souvenirs in the shops there. The worst thing about this place is the price which is 25€ per adult :(

OVER PRICED - TOO MUCH HYPE - NEVER A MUST SEE SPOT.Just reached home after a disappointing visit to 'Insel Mainau'.€26 for a very average "botanical" garden. Simply looting the money hyping this spot as a must see in the locality.A visit could be recommendable if entry costed €10 or €15. That is our "rating" for the spot. An additional €6 was needed for the parking. So we, as a group of 4 couples had to spent €110 for a very basic attraction. So NEVER a MUST SEE per our experience. (Keukenhof garden in Amsterdam visit cost €20 -OR- Munich Botanical garden just costs just €5)Kids can enjoy a bit as there are some interesting options for them like 'Kinderland', Pony area, animal feeding area etc. The garden was really disappointing with the "quality" of flowers and maintenance. Some guest-house gardeners in and around the area had better knowledge on how to maintain gardens.The attitude of the staff was very disappointing. Specially the person at that time who was standing at the ticket check area. I asked for a map which was next to him in hundred's - And he simply said "I CANNOT GET ONE". His face felt (for me) like I asked him to give me his salary for that month!Mainau Island is recommendable only if you have no other plans to kill your time. Still, if you plan to visit - better take a ticket online which can be available at €23 and will help you skip the ticket counter queue (ticket counter only accepted cash on our day of visit - unbelievable in 2022). And better plan a complete day at the place to comfortably walk through the whole area.

I had an okay experience at the aquarium. While there were lots of fish to see, I felt bad for the penguins because their space seemed quite small. It was also pretty loud with so many people around, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it was nice to see the variety of marine life, but I wish the conditions for the animals were better.

I came here on a date with my husband and learned lots of fun things about sea life but also had a blast spending some time together! I recommend this to do with a date or with kids and your family!

Excellent aquarium. Not too big, well organized. It takes some 30 minutes maximum to see, i.e. exactly what my toddler daughter (2y3m) can focus on and not get annoyed.

Would have been nice BUT they decided to let in way too many people for such a small space. You constantly feel pressured by the crowd and can't really look at the tanks nor talk to your family about what you see (due to the noise level).Can't recommend. Much better to visit aquariums at one of the various Zoos (e.g., Zurich Zoo).

We had a very nice time! You get to see the fishies very close , decoration and light & sound effects are also very well done !

Wonderful expirience for someone who never has been to aquarium but it is also a place where I would regularly go because it is so calming. Staff is very nice and ready to help.

We (2 adults, 1x 9 year old, 1x 5 year old) had a great experience. The exhibitions were great with plenty information on the fish and other organisms. Both kids enjoyed it, including the various activities for the kids. The Naturkundemuseum at the end was a great bonus.We had booked online but were ~20 minutes early. As no queue, we got in early with no wait time.

Stunning! I hiked up from the bottom and the family took the lift. The food was above expectations and the scenery / views incredible. From my daughter: It was so fun! I can't believe how long it's been around! We had lunch earlier so we just came for drinks and desert! Delicious! I had a homemade Ice tea that had an amazing fresh taste! The view was super pretty!

Not much of a hike from the cable car and was too wet to hike up or down.But still happy we went even on a rainy cloudy day. Clouds parted just long enough for a few pictures. Must see place.We did not spend the night but did have a coffee and snack at the little restaurant. The meat platter was excellent and big enough to share between 2 people.It's definitely worth the visit!

I had an Apple tart with the incredible view on top of the mountain, it felt like a reward after the hike.The tart is fresh with no added flavors which allows you to have that real taste of Swiss goodies!Recommended!

Complete rip off of customers. Apple juice is 2/3 mixed with water. I saw how they prepared it and initially I thought they mix it with a concentrate, but no, it’s with a normal apple juice. Final product has a very very weak taste of apple jus and this “pleasure” costs 6fr. Shame on you. Among other things, the restaurent/bar is very touristy and crowded, even off-season. Cable car brings many people there.

Literally the reason I came to Switzerland. You will not be disappointed. We took a 3 hour train ride, then a cable car and then a 2 hour hike out. It was so worth it. Next time I want to stay at the house. Food was great, way better than what I expected on the mountain. They do have nice bathrooms, and the service is great. It’s first come first serve but we dressed for the weather and enjoyed the outside.

A must when you visit Bad Ragaz. It is a well kept and clean wellness thermal bath area. The pool area is well planned with different size pools and degrees. Lots of sitting space if needed and quite relaxing areas with lounges.The sauna area is fantastic. It is a little expensive but It has a beautiful outside area that is well organised. There are block houses for sauna and relaxation. There also is a bistro for refreshments. Be aware that some people take their mobile phones into this area. I saw 3 people with their phones.The small things missing for me are, outdoor seats to take a moment after the sauna. Not snowy metal lounge chairs. And the possibility of buying a bottle of water at the entrance of the sauna area and refilling it to keep hydrated.Hotel Schloss Ragaz is just a 5 min walk away. A very pleasant stay. Thank you

Overall a nice experience but a few things could be better: They built the outdoor pool on the wrong side facing an ugly parking lot instead of the majestic mountains on the other side. Instructions for entering the sauna are confusing and contradictory.

Rating Specific for the Sauna:decent types of sauna, though the steam room feels a bit too “open”.Quite rooms are big and spacious but could be more isolated from outside noise.Also, maybe I missed it but there does not seem to be something to eat & drink except for a running tap water. Better than nothing but selection could be improved.In general, I recommend trying it at least once.Expect a lot of people from Friday-Sunday.

Recently refurbished. Was expecting a far better quality and finish to be honest. Clad walls already looked dirty and stained and the general finish seemed poor. The baths themselves seem far too small and limiting, given the number of customer lockers and therefore expected attendance. A shame.

Honestly? I came here thinking I was gonna have a lovely relaxing experience. However, the kids all over the place turned an experience which could have been an easy 10/10 into a 4/10.I personally don’t think that kids should be allowed here, the whole purpose of the Therme and the spa is to RELAX! How can I do that with kids all around screaming and splashing water? It beats the whole purpose of going there! This isn’t Säntis Park!So far my worst Therme experience unfortunately.I put the two stars ⭐️⭐️ because the place is beautifully designed and the staff is lovely.

I’m updating my review since the recent renovations which have taken place. It’s unclear to me after it was closed for half a year what changed- the pools are still seem the same but are no longer missing a few tiles, the walls are still in need of a repainting and much of the relaxation is taken away by extremely grumpy staff in the sauna area. We visited over the Christmas holiday with relatives from out of town and the women working in the sauna area was constantly coming into saunas to interrupt to complain or give orders, then the “quiet rooms” to tell people to leave or shower etc and basically ruined the ability to relax. Given this, I’m not sure I’d ever return for the price. I’d expect this at a cheap Hungarian bath not a 5 star hotel.. . The hotel has its own spa and sauna as well as pools which are 100x better and less crowded than the public Tamina Thermals but those are for another review.Previous review from December 2023:I want to default this by saying I’ve been to spas all over the world and countless thermals. The temperatures of the pools here are perfect, there are around 6 pools that range from 20-40 degrees. I came during the week when it was at about 30% capacity and I could not imagine there being more people. I unfortunately did not try the sauna as I had my teenage son with me. The therme area design felt extremely outdated- many of the pools had tiles that were missing or had come off. The jets run at random and for short periods. They were always occupied. The space looked like it had been designed in the late 80s and probably had its peak around the early 90s. I expected something that could compete with thermal Vals or even the Aquadome in Tirol but it was really underwhelming and much smaller. The hotel it is attached to, I went to the cafe after and is absolutely lovely in terms of the gardens and service. I will return to the Therme to try the sauna and spa services (during the week) but would be quiet afraid of how packed it would be at capacity or during the weekends. I think if the entrance was half the price I’d consider a higher rating but for the current price point I’d rather drive to Vals or even Sankt Antons thermals. .The champagne Automat however at the entrance might have been one of the highlights as it’s hilarious.

Definitely a must when in the area, especially after a day on the slopes.Highlights (included in the entrance fee): mineral salts ceremony and sauna ceremony; ask the staff about location and hours and make sure to participate.The outdoor pool and nearby sauna are great in winter time. The indoor pools are diverse (17° to 39°), with a good offering of water massages.The indoor design looks clinical and cold, lacking intimacy and making the experience rather that of a public bath than of a relaxing spa. Also, the pools may become loud in the afternoon because of children/teenagers.There's a café inside where you can get food & drinks.

Great experience, what everyone should do once a life. Beautiful way with old train with very nice views and interesting routes. I didn't know the meaning of the name "Sauschänzlebahn". It comes from the form of the route."Sau" means sow, and schänzle is Tail:)) And because of one particular place the route is looking like the tail of sow, they called it " Sauschänzlebahn".There is also little museum, where you can see all the details related to the old railway. and can watch the movie about it. You could bring your kids here, they will enjoy also much definitely.
